Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux

Our friends Bo and Jenny recently introduced us to Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux. It's a chill hang out near Baldwin Park that has a nice offering of appetizer's, sandwiches, desserts and whatever your fancy for beverage.

On Friday night it was relaxed and fun with a cozy 20something to 50something crowd. It was just comfortable and reminded me a lot of this particular bar & coffee shop in Sarasota. Of course I can't remember the name of the place to save my life!

We ordered up dessert fare and waited patiently for it to be freshly prepared. The owners were behind the counter and it was obvious that they loved what they do. After a few minutes of watching the Tour de France on tv, southern France is beautiful by the way, our desserts made their way to our table. We sampled the Nutella panini, their blueberry smoothie and hazelnut gelatto. It was all, as Rachel Ray would say, "Yum-O." :)

I should mention the Tour was on due to the theme of the cafe is everything biking. The decor was a spot on mix of getting the feeling of the owners love for not just the sport but the towns and villages and nature that accompanies it.
